Mean Lion Tours is an educational walking tour of historic Butler. We explore Butler's industrial past and see where it's going. Your guide will unload hundreds of facts about the city Smithsonian Magazine ranked 7th best small town in America in 2012.

Each 75-minute tour explores the business district, the revitalized Centre City, and cultural attractions. Along the way, you'll see historic churches, estates of prominent Butler figures, and the oldest buildings in town!
Tour Route
All tours begin and end at historic Diamond Park. We may alter the exact route due to city festivals or construction.

Tours mainly crawl along Main Street as well as the historic North McKean Street corridor. You'll learn about buildings we've lost as well as structures we've preserved. Before you know it, it'll all be over. All good things must come to an end. Bring tissues.
